The legal basis of the processing is Article 6(1)(a, c, e) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU L of 2016 No. 119, p. 1) – hereinafter referred to as the GDPR, i.e. the consent of the data subject and fulfilment of the legal obligation lying with the controller – Article 53 (5) of the Act on the Institute of National Remembrance – Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation, performing tasks in the public interest and archiving.

The data controller of your personal data is the President of the Institute of National Remembrance – Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation, based in Warsaw, address: ul. Wołoska 7, 02-675 Warsaw. The controller of the personal data shall ensure appropriate technological, physical, administrative and procedural data protection measures to protect and ensure the confidentiality, correctness and availability of the personal data processed, as well as the protection against unauthorized use or unauthorized access to personal data and the protection against personal data security breaches.

The recipients of personal data may be the entities authorised by the data controller and entities authorized to access such data pursuant to separate provisions of law.

Your personal data will be processed for the time necessary to carry out the dispatch of the Educational Historical Package, and then in connection with the implementation of the archiving obligation. After this period, your personal data will be erased.

You have the right to access your personal data and the right to rectify, erase or restrict their processing, the right to object to the processing of the personal data and to data transfer.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Authority, if you believe that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect legal compliance regarding any processing carried out pursuant to your consent before it was withdrawn.
